Second competition of Keyboard!

The first part of Keyboard ended last night, with me winning all three levels Big Smile Next three levels were uploaded, called 'Plus', 'Minus' and 'Xmas Decoration'. Very good levels again, although perhaps not quite my type... Solutions to these three must be sent to Eckhard (same address as last time) before January 14, 23:59 CET. Good luck to all players!

The big one is up!

It's there, the one we've been waiting for. Eckhard's Keyboard competition is finally on! The link to the first levels can be found at the Bricks forum. You must send your solutions to, as he put it, "bricksblues @ online.de without the gaps" before December 14, 23:59 Central Europe Time. Moves and steps will count, the date of sending won't. There will be no handicap system for this competition (IIRC teaming up is allowed, please tell if I am wrong Eckhard). Telling your results to other ppl is allowed but foolish.
The first three levels to be played are called 'Klocki', 'Electrical', and 'Are You Ready ?'. As always, Eckhard has shown tremendous skill at the designing stage. It is also guaranteed that these levels do not mimic there warm-ups in the boredom Wink

Good luck for all players!

Bricks V statistics updated!

Well since Nolan hasn't updated for a long time, I decided to put the current Bricks V top4 statistics up at http://bnnqiltuki.blogdrive.com/bvtaulu.gif Big Smile Please help me fill in the unknowns and point out mistakes. In other news, since there hasn't been any activity on Vorpal Bunny to prove the level is solvable, the deadline for this level is postponed until December 14, same time, by when there should be more to say Smile

The Revenge of Teräväpupu!

Since the great Keyboard competition has been postponed due to problems with Eckhard's page, I was obliged to put up another warm-up level. All previous levels fail to equalise as the Vorpal Bunny takes its revenge over Bricks players...

The playing is similar to Call Me Nobody. The deadline for this level is at November 14, 17:00 GMT, by when I'll be hanging around in forum chat unless something unexpected happens. Download Vorpal Bunny here!

NOTE: This level has not been tested at all and might very well be impossible. If you solve the level, or feel it must be impossible, you would do well to inform about it in the tagboard. I could not give it further testing just now because of spending next few days in hospital unable to play Bricks. If you are afraid of playing possibly impossible levels, you'd better wait another week before starting.

Have fun! Smile

Warm-up for Keyboard!

Well there's nothing going on at the moment and Eckhard's big comp will start in a few weeks so I thought you people needed a little warm-up sort of thing before it Big Smile This time, I'm only uploading one level, named 'Call Me Nobody'. The results to this level will be secret until Saturday, October 14th, 17:00 GMT. (Well you can tell your score but since other people won't you'll have the lower hand if you do Wink) I'll be hanging around in the Bricks Forum chat room by then unless something unexpected happens... After the deadline, the solutions will be published. Note that this is not any serious competition (when you see the level you'll know why! 'Nobody' wants to optimize this) but merely a fun little warm-up for Keyboard Shades

The level should be solvable but so far I haven't done it *evil grin* Perhaps even the initial "record" of 999 is breakable... Oh, and every step counts Wink Get it here!

Have fun!

'He [Qilzqhynw] looked at the swamps. Somewhere in the middle of all those small dark green trees and qidnymulyd and mosquitoes the great evil lurked. The dark, unseen force he had to confront. He sighed. In all the stories and legends, the heroes made a surprise attack and always succeeded to kill the enemy leader. But this was the real life. Anyway, there was Nobody in charge of this army.'
